Tradestaff Global is seeking licensed & experienced EXCAVATOR OPERATORS to work on a short-term basis (Approx 6 weeks work) in the Pacific IslandsTHE ROLE:
Operating large Excavators on a remote project in the Pacific. You also need to be willing to get out of the cab & assist other trades including labouring work at times.
It would be an advantage if you had experience on other plant machinery such Bobcats / Skid steers , please note this in your CV.
YOU NEED TO:
- Hold a WTR & a Class 4 Licence.
- Have solid experience operating 30 - 45 Tonne Excavators with shears and grapples on high-risk sites & have referees who will be able to validate this.
- Supply a current up to date CV that outlines your skills/experience with Excavators including sizes/tonne, brand & length of time operating & examples of projects/sites worked on.
- Be IT literate & good with dealing with a lot of paperwork.
- $3.5K per week (after taxes) - Contractor basis, paid fortnightly in NZ Dollars.

- Travel insurance, visas, and flights included and organised

TBC but either a single approx. 6 week shift OR Approx 3 weeks working away with a few weeks break back in NZ and returning to site as required to finish the job.
Working 12-hour days on site. Rosters are subject to change due to the nature of remote FIFO work

- You need to be currently permanently based in NZ due to compliance/insurance purposes & logistics involved with medicals/drug testing etc.
- Be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 for this role due to overseas border entry requirements.

- You need a clean criminal record (Police checks will be completed at interview).
- You will need to pass drug/alcohol & medical testing as well as random testing on site.
- You need to be able to follow instructions & have good attention to detail.
